One of the biggest problems a computer savvy is facing is on how to secure their username and password. Over time our accounts is being added every day and it’s hard to maintain those username and passwords.
Here are some of the most common accounts that we have:
- Web hosting
- Affiliate networks
Those are basic accounts that you have, right? I myself have more than 100 accounts to date. So maintaining each of this account in your memory or even in Excel format is not a good idea.
Think about the security that will be compromise if you save it on unsecured location. With hundreds or even 20 accounts only, it’s very hard to memorize all those information.
What if you forgot your username and password for your web hosting account? Your domain name account? Your Adsense account?
With that said, you need to have a computer program to keep and make your account safe.
Previously I introduced my own program called “Password Management System”. I used it before until I found another great program called “KeePass”. KeePass is free and is licensed under GNU General Public License.
Here’s the description of this applicated quoted from keepass.com:
“KeePass helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key-disk
So you only have to remember one single master password or insert the key-disk to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish).”
I leave my own program in behalf of KeePass because it uses advance encryption technology. It has also a lot of features that you can use. The best feature that I like is its ability to sign in automatically to any website by just simply pressing a combination of keys like CTRL+C and CTRL+V in your keyword. The username and password will then insert it on the next active window on your desktop.
Don’t wait until you lost your password. Download now and avail with this great program.
