Prioritizing Your Blog

by Jay Pabs on November 26, 2010

Prioritizing your work, especially blogging could be of full effort domain. It doesn’t mean you need to get your established goals that fast, it is actually keeping yourself on track and getting oneself on track is to have your focus always at hand. I didn’t mean you need to bring your desktop, look for a comfy place, and start your addicted blogging; it’s actually doing first things first. If blogging is your priority, then you have to stay with it albeit of many unexpected circumstances.

But how you could be able to do so? When there are really times you experience stress in work? Let me tell you how.

Commitment

In my last article “Tips for a Freelance Writer”, I had mentioned the importance of commitment of a hired writer; now I prefer you as the subject. Having your commitment in blogging is of course doing your responsibility. Once readers loved your blog, you just can’t refuse them for as we all know, they are but the reason why you and your blog existed. Since it is, a must to have that full commitment as a blogger is well-pleased.

Discipline

Anyone could define this with their understanding but could not actually bear themselves with it.  As the saying goes “Discipline yourself so that others will not have to” is in complexity. Yes, you could reprimand someone with their loafy and wayward behavior, but putting yourself in their shoes is obviously difficult. You can’t just give prejudices to someone without any certainty. Talk with thyself. Don’t think about what other people will think about you, as long as you discipline yourself by doing your work hand in hand, blogging will just run smoothly. It is by then that a game will just be a play.

Time Management

If we are those people with hectic schedule, we would probably say “I need to finish this, and do that.” Managing your time is not just about how many things you had accomplished in just a day, it is about how you did your work satisfactorily and feel contented. In blogging, it is a need for you to have schedule, a schedule that works best for you. Work for a schedule that incorporates all of your to-do-list and the allotted time for it. If you will continuously do this, it will be your routine and would be enough you did something even just for single day.

Be an Addictive Blogger

Yes, I am not just telling you to be responsible enough to do your job but it is a must for you to be an addictive blogger. Why? A blogger profits something ordinary people (not a blogger) cannot. Like in my article “Why Blogging Can be so Addictive”, I had mentioned five reasons why you have to. Blogging may be difficult because of time strain and stress, but what will you going to do with that innate skill that you posses?  You’re a linguist, able to write anything in topsy-turvy subjects and do love to help people online. Knowing that reasons enough, it is not possible for you to prioritize your blogging career and as expected success will just push through unlike what you ever thought of. How amazing would that be!
