Now let’s proceed on how to use this tool.

The following image will give you an idea on how to use windows live writer.

To enter a title of your post just click on the “Enter a post title”. Beneath it is where you type the content of your article.

Before publishing it to your blog you can do many things like inserting picture, table, map, etc. This is where I like this tool most. I will not have to worry about the uploading the image one by one.

Clicking on preview button will give you an idea on how your blog will look like when it published. For advance user they can also edit the source of the document just like using Dreamweaver.

The problem with the preview button is that it creates a temporary article on your website and deletes it right away. If you did not install “Feed Pauser” the article will be submitted automatically to your RSS feed.

Your best option here is to install this plugin and set the “Pause time” to a later time.

Publishing the Article

In my case I always use “Post draft to blog” so that I can review it before making it live. But it’s up to you whether you publish it directly or draft it before it goes live.
