Mistakes to avoid
Put this in mind, when you blog especially if you’re just starting out, don’t blog because of money. This is the common mistake a blogger think. They thought that right after they started a blog they will make money online right away. This is totally wrong. How can you make money if you don’t have enough articles in your website? And in fact, you must give your reader a first impression so they will have to comeback anytime they like because you have a great article.
Starting a blog is not just about writing, you must write a good article so other may find it useful. Whether you are talking about real estate, weight loss, stock market, money talks online, free source code, and a lot more, you must give your best. My website has a lot of visitors because they can download what they are looking for.
Set a goal
The more articles you have the more visitors you will attract. Think of this, if you have only 10 articles with 10 visitors’ everyday how much you can earn from Google Adsense? Do your math. If the cost per click is equal to $0.15 then you will have around $1.5 a day. But what if those 10 visitors don’t bother to click your ads? Say out of 10 only 2 persons have clicked your ads? So your profit is only $0.30 per day.
How about if you have 10,000 articles? And every day only 1,000 visitors clicked your ads? Then you will have this profit:
Number of visitors click times cost per click = profit
1,000 x $0.15 = $150/day
The question is how can you write 10,000 articles? This can be done by writing every day. It’s up to you how many articles you can write every day. But me, I’m happy with 1 article per day. This means that within a year I only have 360 articles. But if I will write more, say double it every day, it takes more than 13 years to achieve 10,000 articles.
This means that it takes time in order to make money with Google Adsense. But this is not the only deal. Google Adsense is not the only method to monetize your website. There’s a lot more to this. Just go on reading so that you will learn how.
