How to Build Your Own Website

by Jay Pabs on June 11, 2009

Before it was very hard to build a website especially if you don’t have any knowledge in HTML and scripting languages like PHP. But now because there’s a lot of Content Management System or simply CMS you can now have your own website setup in an hour. All you have to do is select a theme install a plug-in and write your content.

Using CMS, you don’t need to study HTML or webpage design in order to start your own blog. I even use this ready-made software to build my own website.

Now the question is “What is the best CMS” out there? Being a programmer I tested most of this software and I love using either WordPress or Drupal. In my blog at www.sourcecodester.com I use Drupal because it is a complete CMS that extends its flexibility from simple to advance features. However, I use WordPress in my blog at this website and www.reviewcollection.com because I deal almost with content rather than advance programming.

So I suggest you use WordPress if your purpose is to add dynamic content in your website.
